Handcrafted nativity composed of 6 handmade characters made of ceramic paste with antique effect, with hand-sewn clothes of different fine fabrics.
The characters of this nativity are: St. Joseph, Our Lady, Jesus in the cradle and the three wise men with their respective camels.
A small handcrafted masterpiece expertly crafted with careful attention to detail, enriching the characters with scenic accessories, jeweled buttons, fine fabrics, and coral applications.
St. Joseph is dressed in a long robe of burgundy laminated and embossed taffeta, the tunic is of brown and gold laminated damask, and the cuffs and mantle are mink. The headdress is made of burgundy and gold lame' fabric and is complemented by jeweled button and rhinestone decorations.
The 3 Magi that can be separated from their respective camels so as to allow a freer arrangement are dressed in precious fabrics including brown and gold dyed damask, burgundy chenille, gold and burgundy laminated taffeta'. The Mantle and wrists are made of mink and the decorations are done with trimmings, rhinestones and jeweled applications.
The Madonna in a kneeling position, is dressed in burgundy embossed silky fabric, has a brown and gold laminated damask cloak and a lame' gold and burgundy fabric headdress. The mantle and wrists are mink and she is embellished with jeweled buttons, rhinestones and pendants.
Baby Jesus, in his cradle, is lying on a damask and laminated brown and gold cover; it is also embellished with a jeweled button and crown.
This work is a one-of-a-kind piece of Italian craftsmanship and is accompanied by a cucumber of uniqueness from La Favola Incantata.
