Description

This hand-crafted ceramic sculpture is conceived as a small nursery, the figure of a woman in fact holds a "cornucopia" that, filled with soil, can become the bed for planting a seedling.

In its decoration, the work makes use of the "cuerda seca" technique, which leaves parts of unglazed terracotta to define lines and spaces; and recalls the ancient craft of seeders, once characteristic of the Abruzzo countryside.
