HZERO, the unprecedented museum project curated by Alberto Salvadori in the spaces of the former Ariston cinema, Piazza degli Ottaviani, 2, in Florence; opens its doors free of charge to the public, on the occasion of the International Day of Fermodellismo, which will be held on Friday, Dec. 2.
Born in Germany in 2015, the event is dedicated to all experts and enthusiasts in the field and those who choose to approach model railroading.
HZERO fits into the international calendar of events by inviting young and old to be fascinated by the world of miniature railways and explore the model railway designed by Giuseppe Paternò Castello di San Giuliano.
Open to the public from May 29, 2022, HZERO comes to life starting from the model railway (280 sq. m.), the protagonist of a real poetic choreography of lights, sounds and projections specially designed to emphasize its scenic rendering. The tour is enriched by temporary exhibitions and a program of educational workshops for adults and children.
Maintaining the deep bond that unites the world of model railroading with the dimensions of play, invention and know-how, HZERO was born and developed as a space open to all kinds of audiences, a place to relive moments of one's childhood or to rediscover the poetry of a complex and fascinating universe such as the train.
