ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO opens the BLOGS & CRAFTS Europe 2022 Call for the selection of ten young international artisans under 35 and ten influencers to be hosted at the XXVIII edition of the Exhibition, scheduled from 16 to 18 September at the Garden of Palazzo Corsini in Florence.
Also this year the contest opens to all European countries thanks to the collaboration with the World Crafts Council: the foreign winners of the “CRAFTS” section will be welcomed for four nights by 25hours Hotels, while the influencers invited to Florence will be guests of Starhotels for tell live blogging about the show on their social channels. In addition, the selected Chamber of Commerce of Florence will offer a meeting on the theme “How to become an entrepreneur of yourself” organized by Promofirenze.
A project, that of BLOGS & CRAFTS, launched by ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO in 2014 to involve the new generations who, with their vision of innovation, make a fundamental contribution to the changes in the artisan sector. “Our hope is to be able to host more and more young people and, with their presence at the Stables of Palazzo Corsini – the exclusive area on display dedicated to them -, to be able to convey to our visitors that craftsmanship is a contemporary reality” , declare Sabina Corsini, President of the Corsini Garden Association and Neri Torrigiani, creator and organizer of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO.
Finally, the collaboration of the Ferragamo Foundation is renewed, which will give the winners the opportunity to visit the Salvatore Ferragamo Archive, custodian of the company’s tradition and of that craftsmanship so dear to its founder.
Like all the other exhibitors, the young “crafts” can be voted on by the public who, through special cards distributed at the entrance, will decide the winner of the “Perseus Prize”, as the best craftsman of CRAFTS AND PALAZZO Mostra 2022.
The registration forms can be downloaded from the ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO website in the BLOGS & CRAFTS 2022 section: those for young artisans must be received by May 20, those for influencers by July 22.
